Before working with Meema, my self-confidence was low and my resume and interviewing skills were not getting me the job offer that I wanted. I would do well during phone interviews and companies would invite me to on-site interviews but companies would just decide to offer the position to someone else.
After a few sessions, I was able to significantly improve my resume. I was also able to come up with a concise way of introducing myself. It felt great knowing that I can confidently and clearly say my skills and experiences.
When I look back at the moment I made the decision to do this for myself I feel should have done this a long time ago. I highly recommend Meema if you've struggled with your interviewing skills and if you feel like you are not good enough. I guarantee you that you'll realize how important and good your skills are and how much you are really worth.
Meema was just what I needed...when I needed it! After a myriad of intense high level interviews with no offer in hand, I connected with Meema to see if she could offer any other strategies or tips to help me land my next role and expedite the process. Her coaching and support gave me a refreshed outlook toward my job search. She even gave me clarity regarding my overall mission. I was not trying to land my next gig, but the next stepping stone in my journey. Actually, my time with her was much more than coaching. It was an ``experience``. Within 3 weeks, I got hired and was on a plane headed to orientation - to start my new ``mission``!
I've done a lot of online research about job hunting, and it would make sense, but never in a way that I could see myself doing it. When Meema talked about the exact same things I'd researched, she didn't just give information. Rather, she also made it clear how that information could be used. She also has a way of addressing questions that allows every aspect of job hunting to be understood as realistic, in every sense of the word. Her answers are accurate, showing the mountains I'd thought were in front of me as the molehills – or sometimes fairly steep but certainly hikeable inclines – that they truly are.
All in all, every word of Meema's advice turned me away from an unhealthy fixed mindset and towards a healthy growth mindset, where the facts of the world remain, and yet I am completely capable of doing and learning how to do what will get me the job I aim for.
Before consulting with Meema I was confused about my vision for my life and I was wondering what next steps to take, i was feeling frozen, paralyzed and extremely discouraged.
After a session, I have a clear picture of my vision for my future and of what fears and beliefs prevent me from going towards it.
i discovered the reason why I was staying ``stuck`` in certain situations and that it was ok, it was just a wrong take on the situation, I understood that I should not rush the process but instead realize I needed to first focus on me and take care of me before opening up to other ``goals``. This has brought a lot of relief in me and dropped my stress level and stopped my hectic search for ``getting there``!When I look back at the moment I made the decision to do this for myself I feel I listened to my intuition and I felt it was a sacred moment i shared with Meema full of truth and of deep focus on both parts.
I highly recommend Meema if you’ve struggled with confusion about what you want for yourself and how to get towards it and if you want someone who has both empowering & creative tools. She is laser focused, with a lot of simplicity and a real ``no bullshit`` but very kind and fresh attitude. I also felt, (and i've done lots of self growth work) that she is very modern and highly trained as well as very intuitive. I felt my time with her was so preciously taken care of. I found the tools she uses very efficient as well as ``surprising``!
Meema allowed me to share thoughts and recollections that I thought were not specific to my current unemployment situation. It turns out that many things were and I know that changing my attitude towards myself will help me tremendously on my next journey.
The one word that kept coming up in our meeting was 'appreciation'. In the last few years with my two jobs, I was not happy and I shared with Meema that I was looking for a job where I would be appreciated. I told her that I just did not feel appreciated personally and she said to me that I was attracting the same type of job - one that I did not feel appreciated. It seemed so clear that it was almost embarrassing that I did not see it sooner. Meema suggested that I needed to take care of myself and focusing on me will benefit me but ultimately those that I love. I know deep down that my family appreciates me and my next employer will too.
I always go to Meema and talk to her regarding many things but with her coaching I never thought I would be able to bravely deal with some issues I had been struggling all these years. Our conversations always left me energized and more engaged in life. Meema also has taught me some practical ways to deal with my everyday battles which is now helping me to become more adept in dealing with everyday struggles in life.
